Our basic guidelines of important design considerations for CNC machining to help improve part manufacturability, enhance cosmetic appearance, and reduce production problems.

Avoided deep pockets (Pockets deep should be < 3 times of cutter dia.)
Avoided narrow regions
Avoided sharp internal corners
Avoided inaccessible features (The cutting tool cannot access them)
Avoided outside fillets on the edges/pocket (Cost+)
Outside Chamfer instead (Cost-)
Avoided blind holes with a flat bottom (Cost+)
Blind holes with cone-shaped (118° or 135°) instead (Cost-)
Min. wall thickness ~0.8mm*
Tolerances +/- 0.05mm (Fine finish)
+/- 0.127mm (Standard finish)

*Depend on the size, configuration, and alloy used in the design.
