Surface Finishes

By using a direct electric current to reduce the cations of a metal, the process of electroplating creates a metal coating on a solid substrate. This method can be utilized for ornamental as well as corrosion and wear resistance applications.

Deburring and removing surface defects can be done with brushing. The surface pattern produced by the brush moving in one direction against the workpiece is a consistent parallel grain.
